Sibutramine Hydrochloride is not suitable for people with any of the following
- High blood pressure or history of heart disease
- Liver or kidney problems, or any problems with your prostate or thyroid gland
- If you have suffered from bulimia or anorexia
- If you have been treated recently for depression
- If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, or breast feeding
- If you are older than 65 or younger than 18
- If you have had any alcohol or drug problems
- If you suffer from seizures or you are epileptic
