By ordering Tadalafil you are agreeing that you will NOT take Tadalafil if you suffer from any medical problems including any heart condition, liver problem, low blood pressure, stomach ulcers, or any eye disease. You agree to stop taking the medication if you have any adverse side effects or if you become allergic to the Tadalafil.
You must agree NOT to take Tadalafil if you have ever been treated for heart problems or chest pain. You agree that you will NOT take any for of nitroglycerine or amylnitrate substances that can be found in recreational drugs. You must be in good health and over 18 years of age and you must take full responsibility of informing your own doctor of the medication you are taking. You must understand the potential side effects of taking Tadalafil and you must accept responsibility for taking the Tadalafil tablets. You must read, understand and agree to the Waiver and Terms.
There are some important medical facts you should know about Tadalafil?
Taking Tadalafil with other medications could cause your blood pressure to reduce to an unsafe level. You could get faint or dizzy or have a heart attack or stroke.
You must NOT take Tadalafil if you:
- have been prescribed any medications that are nitrates. Angina, which is one of the symptoms of heart disease is commonly treated with nitrates.
- have been prescribed other medicines which include nitrates such as nitroglycerin that can be found in sprays, tablets, ointments or pastes. Nitrates are also found in medicines including isosorbide dinitrate or isosorbide mononitrate. There are also recreational drugs, commonly known as "poppers" that contain nitrates, such as amyl nitrate and butyl nitrate. You must not take Tadalafil if you are using any of these drugs. If you are unsure if any of your medications contain any nitrates you must consult your doctor.
- take medication known as "alpha blockers". Alpha blockers are prescribed for problems with high blood pressure and also prostate problems. If you take Tadalafil with alpha blockers it could cause your blood pressure to drop to a dangerous level causing you to get dizzy and faint.
- have been instructed not to have any sexual activity by your doctor due to it putting undue strain on your heart.
- have an allergy to Tadalafil or any of it’s ingredients.
What are the potential side effects of taking TADALAFIL?
There are as with any medication possible side effects, and the most common that are seen with taking Tadalafil are upset stomachs, headaches, flushing to the face, back or muscle ache, and a runny nose. These common side effects will only last a short time. Back ache or muscle ache will normally occur after 12 to 24 hours of taking Tadalafil and it will usually go away by itself, but if it persists then contact a doctor.
Less common side effects of Tadalafil include:
- A prolonged erection which is called a priapism. If you do get a prolonged erection you must seek medical help immediately as if this is left untreated it could cause lasting damage to your penis including the inability to get further erections.
- If could also cause problems with vision making sight either blurred or to have a blue tinge to it.
This is not a complete list of possible side effects that can occur from taking Tadalafil. If you have taken Tadalafil and are concerned then you must contact your doctor and seek medical advice.
Is Tadalafil affected by other medications?
It is important to inform your doctor if you are taking other medications as well as Tadalafil. This includes all prescription and non prescription drugs as the combination of medications may be harmful. The medications that need to be acknowledged include:
- Nitrates
- Alpha blockers. These include Hytrin® Flomax® (terazosin HCl), (tamsulosin HCl), Minipress, Cardura® (doxazosin mesylate), ® (prazosin HCl) or Uroxatral® (alfuzosin HCl).
- Indinavir (Crixivan®) Ritonavir (Norvir®) or Ketoconazole or itraconazole (such as Nizoral® or Sporanox®)
- Erythromycin
- Other medical treatments for erectile dysfunction
Other information you need to know about Tadalafil?
- You must not drink excessive amounts of alcohol when taking Tadalafil. This could cause your blood pressure to drop and you to get dizzy.
- Tadalafil does not offer any protection from any sexually transmitted diseases, which includes HIV.
General Information on Tadalafil:
Medicines are sometimes prescribed for conditions other than those described in patient information leaflets. You must not use Tadalafil for any condition that it was not prescribed for. You must not give Tadalafil to anyone else, even if they have the same symptoms that you have. It could harm them as they may have other illnesses that you are not aware of.
